This project is currently under construction for Main Contractor Bouygues UK. The project involves the following:
Construction of a 450m2 Basement, 5.5m Deep Fully Watertight to provide additional accommodation to Grey Coats Hospital School.
Secant Piling to the Perimeter of the Basement.
Construction of RC Capping Beam along the perimeter of the Basement at Ground Floor sitting on the Secant Piles.
Installation of Structural Steel Knee Braces to Support the Basement Perimeter Secant wall in its Temporary Condition whilst Excavation and RC Construction is Ongoing.
Bulk Excavation to Basement Formation 5.5m below Existing Ground Level.
Construction of New Lift Pit, Drainage and 400mm Thick RC Basement Slab cast in Waterproof Concrete.
Gun Spray Applied Concrete Liner Wall Facing to the Secant Piles.
Installation of Fully watertight Triton Cavity Drain System to Basement Floor and Perimeter Walls to Ground Floor.
Construction of RC Ground Floor Slab over Basement.
