This project is currently under construction with City Basement as Main Contractor. The project involves the following:
Extension of an existing basement to create an additional 110m2 of Floor area comprising of 3.7m Deep Fully Watertight Basement to provide additional Commercial Area for a Private Client.
RC Underpinning to Existing Perimeter Party walls 4.2m deep carried out in 2 Stages.
Installation of Structural Steel Braces at Ground Floor to retain existing Party Walls in the Temporary Condition whilst Basement is being Constructed.
Bulk Excavation to Basement Formation 3.7m below Existing Ground Level.
Construction of New Drainage / Sumps and a 250mm Thick RC Basement Slab.
Perimeter 250mm Thick Reinforced Concrete Liner Walls to Underside of Ground Floor Slab.
Construction of 200mm Thick RC Ground Floor Slab over Basement.
Installation of Fully watertight Triton Cavity Drain System to both the existing and newly Extended Basement Floors and Perimeter Walls to Underside of Ground Floor.
